A Meridian High School student was taken into custody on Wednesday after weapons were found in their vehicle on campus. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the school’s parking lot.
A concerned citizen reported the student’s actions off-campus, prompting a police response. Upon returning to the school parking lot, officers discovered weapons in the student’s vehicle. The student was arrested and booked into the Snake River Juvenile Detention Center. Classes continued without interruption during the event.
