A Silver Alert is out for David John Zderic, 81, who was last seen Tuesday, March 3, around 10:15 a.m. after a ride-share drop-off for a dentist appointment near West Charleston Boulevard and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Police say he has medical conditions that may make time especially important. Anyone who believes they have information is asked to contact North Las Vegas police or call 911.

3) DUI enforcement push brings nearly 200 citations

North Las Vegas police reported results from a recent impaired-driving enforcement effort tied to Nevada’s Joining Forces initiative. Officers made seven arrests and issued 181 citations, along with hundreds of traffic-enforcement contacts. The department said citations ranged from speeding and seat belt violations to unsafe lane changes and intersection violations, and that the goal is to keep impaired drivers off local roads.
