North Las Vegas seeks input for 2055 master plan
North Las Vegas opened an online survey Oct. 12 to gather public input for its 2055 Master Plan, a framework the city says will guide future development and investment. FOX5 Las Vegas reports the survey will be available through mid-November.
The survey asks about housing and neighborhood design, traffic and mobility, jobs, parks and open space, sustainability, public services, and community safety. FOX5 reports the year-long outreach effort will also include community events and stakeholder meetings, with public input considered alongside economic and environmental data as the plan is drafted.
This is an input-gathering step, not an adopted plan or approval of specific projects. The cityโs current master plan was adopted in 2006. Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown told FOX5 the city has added about 100,000 residents since then.
The cityโs schedule lists current-conditions work in 2026, a visioning phase spanning 2026 and 2027, and final plan adoption in 2027.
