Ostrich Festival Wraps, NHRA Roars Through Town, and Arts Events Ahead in Chandler
Chandler, AZ – March 23, 2026 – A packed weekend brought festival crowds, NHRA racing action and fresh arts events to venues across the city.
Chandler closed out a high-energy weekend with major crowds, fast cars and live music across the city.
Ostrich Festival Draws Big Weekend Crowds
The 36th Annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival wrapped up its second weekend Sunday at Rawhide Western Town and Event Center. The longtime spring tradition featured carnival rides, food vendors and a stacked concert lineup.
Saturday night brought legendary funk and soul group The Commodores to the main stage, followed by Baby Bash on Sunday. The festival’s move to Rawhide this year gave organizers more space for expanded attractions and larger audiences.
With two full weekends of entertainment now complete, the event once again proved to be one of Chandler’s biggest annual gatherings.
NHRA Arizona Nationals Rev Up at Firebird
Just miles away, engines thundered at Firebird Motorsports Park as the NHRA Arizona Nationals took over the track March 21 and 22. Racing fans packed the venue for a full slate of high-speed competition featuring top drag racing teams from across the country.
The event continues to be a major draw for Chandler each spring, bringing visitors to local hotels, restaurants and businesses during race weekend.
More Events on the Way
The momentum carries into the week ahead. Pink Martini is set to perform Friday, March 27, at the Chandler Center for the Arts. The internationally known ensemble blends jazz, classical and pop influences, offering a more laid-back but equally vibrant way to close out March.
With festival season in full swing and more concerts and community events ahead, Chandler’s spring calendar is showing no signs of slowing down.
