Kingston Lake Park Closed Due to Diesel Fuel Spill

The Overland Park Fire Department’s hazmat team is investigating the source of the odor reported by a nearby business owner. Crews believe the smell is related to an off-road diesel fuel spill but have yet to determine the exact source despite searching upstream tributaries. The park will remain closed until further notice to ensure public safety.
