Cable Car Incident Injures 15 Passengers
On Monday afternoon, a San Francisco cable car abruptly stopped atop Nob Hill, injuring 15 passengers. The incident occurred at the intersection of California and Hyde streets. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene, and two individuals were transported to the hospital with more serious injuries, while others were treated for minor injuries. The investigation has been handed over to the city’s municipal department and the San Francisco Police Department.
Juvenile Dies After Shooting in Western Addition
On Friday afternoon, a shooting occurred in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood, resulting in the death of one juvenile and injuries to two others. Police responded to reports of the shooting at Golden Gate Avenue and Laguna Street around 5:13 p.m. All three victims were transported to the hospital; one with life-threatening injuries and the others with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
