Emergency crews responded around 10:15 p.m. March 8 and found an overturned Hyundai with multiple occupants. Five ambulances were dispatched, and all six patients were taken to local hospitals with moderate to major injuries.

Investigators believe speed played a role in the crash. Authorities said alcohol and drugs were not considered factors. The two right lanes were temporarily closed during cleanup and investigation.

City Seeks Developer for Major Sports Complex

The City of Moreno Valley has issued a request for proposals for a large-scale sports complex that would include site acquisition, design, construction and long-term operation.
