Thornton Opens WinterFest Marketplace Registration for Vendors
Thornton has opened registration for vendors seeking a space at the cityโs WinterFest Holiday Marketplace, giving applicants until 9 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, to apply for one of 36 heated-tent spaces.
Registration opened at 7 a.m. Monday, August 3, for Thornton residents and nonresidents. Applying does not guarantee acceptance: The city will screen applications and select vendors based on the products offered.
Photos are required
Applicants must email multiple photos of their products or booth by 9 p.m. September 25. The city says applications without the required photos will not be reviewed. Acceptance or denial notifications are scheduled to be sent October 23.
The limited capacity means applicants should submit complete materials before the deadline. The cityโs vendor information page directs applicants to its online registration system and lists the marketplace coordinator for questions.
Application costs and optional rentals
The marketplace fee is $100 for a 10-by-10-foot space, due when the application is submitted. Applicants who are not accepted will receive a full refund, according to the city.
Optional rentals cost $75 for electricity, $12 per table and $2 per chair. Those charges are separate from the $100 space fee.
Marketplace is part of three-day WinterFest
The Holiday Marketplace will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at Carpenter Park Fields, 11000 Colorado Blvd. in Thornton.
WinterFest is scheduled for December 11-13, 2026. The city says the festival attracts more than 40,000 attendees annually; that figure is a City of Thornton estimate, not an independently audited count.
Vendors should review Thorntonโs registration requirements, photo instructions, fees and refund policy before submitting an application.
