Police are investigating after gunfire hit both an occupied home and an occupied vehicle Sunday afternoon on Nancy Lane. Authorities said no injuries were reported, and information about a motive or suspect has not been released as the investigation continues.

Roads and commuting

Drivers saw delays on major routes this week. A Monday-morning crash on U.S. 52 North near Akron Drive closed two right lanes at Exit 112, with injuries reported when the call came in. Officials had not immediately confirmed how many vehicles were involved.

Separately, a large fallen tree blocked northbound lanes of Salem Parkway Sunday night between South Stratford Road and Silas Creek Parkway. Police said the roadway reopened after crews cleared the obstruction.
