Firefighter applicants receive updates

Citizen Police Academy returns later this month
The Aurora Police Department will launch its next Citizen Police Academy on February 26 at police headquarters. The free program runs for eleven Thursday evenings and is open to adults who live, work, or study in Aurora.
Participants will get hands-on exposure to topics like traffic stops, drones, investigations, crisis intervention, and K-9 operations. Applications are due by February 22.
Northern lights may be visible in Illinois
