Centerline on Glendale Opens Affordable Housing Community

Glendale, AZ — February 3, 2026 — Maricopa County recently celebrated the grand opening of Centerline on Glendale, a 368-unit affordable housing community located just west of downtown Glendale. This innovative development aims to provide high-quality, affordable housing to individuals, families, seniors, veterans, and those with special needs. The community features amenities such as a splash pad, dog park, business incubation space, fitness center, and a 13-acre walking path. Rents for the one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments range from $476 to $2,054, catering to households earning between 0-80% of the countywide Area Median Income (AMI). The project was funded with $6 million from the Affordable Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is the first affordable housing community in Arizona to be financed using state low-income housing tax credits.
