North Las Vegas Fuel Check: Metro Gas Near $4.80, Diesel Near $5.80

Regular gasoline in the Las Vegas metro averaged $4.803 per gallon on July 31, 2026, while diesel averaged $5.768 per gallon, according to AAA. Both fuel types were higher than their one-week and one-month comparison averages, keeping the latest benchmark near $4.80 for regular gas and $5.80 for diesel.

Regular gas moved higher

AAA’s Las Vegas metro regular-gas average rose from $4.699 a week earlier to $4.803 on July 31, an increase of about 10 cents per gallon. The average was $4.621 one month earlier, putting the latest figure about 18 cents higher than that comparison.

That AAA figure is a Las Vegas metro benchmark. It is not a citywide average for every station in North Las Vegas. Pump prices can differ by location, fuel grade, payment method, membership status and the timing of a station’s latest update.

Diesel is nearing $5.80

Diesel reached $5.768 per gallon in AAA’s latest Las Vegas metro update, compared with $5.641 a week earlier and $5.358 a month earlier. That represents an increase of about 13 cents over the week and 41 cents over the month.

Diesel costs are especially relevant for contractors, delivery operators, fleet drivers, landscapers, maintenance companies and other service businesses. Higher pump prices can add to route, delivery and job costs, although the effect will vary depending on vehicle use, fuel contracts and how each business sets prices.

Recent North Las Vegas station prices were below the metro benchmark

A KTNV 13 Action News report published July 28 identified several lower-priced options in North Las Vegas. It listed regular unleaded at $4.39 per gallon at Morton’s Truck Stop near Cheyenne Avenue and Interstate 15. The report also listed regular gas at $4.59 and diesel at $5.19 at the Terrible’s location near Lamb Boulevard and I-15 North. Quick Trip off Nexus Way was also listed at $4.59 for regular unleaded.

KTNV said the cited prices were credit prices and that cash could reduce the price by 10 cents per gallon at some locations. Those figures were tied to the station check’s reporting date and should not be treated as guaranteed prices on July 31.

For commuters and households, comparing stations can make a meaningful difference on a large fill-up.
