In-custody death tied to Anaheim arrest under review

County officials are investigating the death of a 54-year-old woman who was booked by Anaheim police on drug-related charges and later found unresponsive while housed at the James A. Musick Facility in Irvine. Life-saving efforts were attempted, but she was pronounced dead. Authorities said there were no immediately suspicious circumstances, and the cause of death is expected to be determined through an independent autopsy and toxicology. A separate prosecutorial review and an internal custody-death review were also described as part of the process.

Disneyland’s after-hours party starts tonight; Food & Wine is next

A specially ticketed after-hours event themed around seven decades of Disneyland history runs tonight (March 3) and again Thursday (March 5), with the party scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Expect an earlier regular-day closing time at Disneyland Park on those nights as the event setup and entry window begin.

Looking ahead, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival begins Friday (March 6) and runs through late April, featuring tasting marketplaces, rotating entertainment, and optional add-on seminars for some visitors.
