Anaheim Gas and Diesel Prices Rise; Orange County Diesel Tops $7
Orange County regular gas reached $5.667 and diesel $7.008 in AAA’s August 1 check, while one Anaheim station listed lower prices.
Regular gasoline and diesel prices both increased in AAA’s August 1, 2026, check for Orange County, giving Anaheim drivers another higher fuel snapshot. Regular gas averaged $5.667 per gallon, while diesel reached $7.008.
Regular gas rises across Orange County
The Orange County regular-gas average increased 0.3 cents from the previous day. It was up 4.4 cents from a week earlier, 36.8 cents from a month earlier and $1.248 from the same point last year.
The latest figure is also 1.2 cents above the previous same-site check, when AAA listed the county average at $5.655 per gallon. That keeps regular gasoline above $5.66 at the county level, although individual Anaheim stations may post different prices.
Diesel moves above $7
Diesel rose 1.5 cents from the previous day to an Orange County average of $7.008 per gallon. The increase was larger over longer periods: diesel was 6.9 cents higher than a week ago, 53.5 cents higher than a month ago and $1.978 higher than a year ago.
Compared with the previous same-site check, the latest diesel average is 4.3 cents higher. Diesel’s monthly and annual increases are also larger in dollar terms than the corresponding moves for regular gasoline, a difference that matters to delivery operators, contractors, service businesses and other commercial drivers.
One Anaheim station shows the local variation
A 7-Eleven at 107 West Ball Road in Anaheim listed regular gas at $5.399 and diesel at $6.699 in a listing updated within 24 hours. Those prices were below the Orange County averages by about 26.8 cents for regular gas and 30.9 cents for diesel.
That listing represents one named station, not an Anaheim-wide average. Prices can vary by location, brand, traffic patterns and timing, so drivers may find meaningful differences between nearby pumps.
What higher fuel costs may mean locally
For Anaheim households, the latest increase can add to commuting and weekend travel costs. Businesses that rely on delivery vans, work trucks or diesel equipment may face higher operating expenses, while contractors and service providers may need to account for more expensive travel between appointments. Those costs can also put pressure on delivery charges, service-call pricing and household budgets.
Drivers planning trips, visiting local attractions or attending events may want to compare nearby stations before filling up. Share the highest and lowest pump prices you are seeing around Anaheim.
