Anaheim gas watch: Orange County regular hits $6.07, diesel $7.38
Orange County regular gas averages $6.069 and diesel $7.376, keeping Anaheim drivers, fleets and weekend travelers well above U.S. fuel costs.
Orange County fuel prices are still hitting Anaheim-area drivers hard. Regular gas is above $6 a gallon, and diesel remains above $7.30, according to the latest AAA check.
Orange County’s average is $6.069 for regular gasoline and $7.376 for diesel. Regular is up sharply from a week ago and much higher than a year ago. Diesel is a little lower than a week and a month ago, but it is still far above last year.
For context, California’s average is $6.060 for regular and $7.501 for diesel. The U.S. average is much lower at $4.392 for regular and $5.572 for diesel.
That gap matters for commuters, contractors, delivery drivers, restaurants, and households that feel every extra dollar at the pump. It also adds pressure for weekend travelers and people heading to events across Orange County and Southern California.
Anaheim is part of Orange County, so the countywide AAA figures are the best local benchmark here. They are not the same as a single Anaheim station price, but they do show what fuel costs are running around the city.
