Henderson Fuel Prices Differ by 37¢ for Gas, 35¢ for Diesel
Fuel prices differed among four sampled Henderson stations on July 29, with regular gasoline ranging from $4.599 to $4.969 per gallon and diesel ranging from $5.549 to $5.899. The listings show why comparing nearby stations can matter for commuters, households, contractors and delivery operators.
Regular gas ranges from $4.599 to $4.969
The lowest sampled regular-gas price was $4.599 per gallon at the 7-Eleven locations at 485 E. Bruner Avenue and 10540 S. Maryland Parkway. The highest was $4.969 at the 7-Eleven at 26 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway.
Regular gasoline was listed at $4.699 at 1015 W. Warm Springs Road. Across the four locations, the difference between the lowest and highest listed regular-gas prices was 37 cents per gallon. For a 20-gallon fill-up, that represents a $7.40 difference before taxes, fees or any price change at the pump.
Diesel ranges from $5.549 to $5.899
Diesel showed a 35-cent spread across the same sample. The lowest listed price was $5.549 at 485 E. Bruner Avenue. The highest was $5.899 at 26 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway.
The other sampled diesel prices were $5.699 at 1015 W. Warm Springs Road and $5.799 at 10540 S. Maryland Parkway. A 20-gallon diesel purchase at the highest listed price would cost $7 more than the same volume at the lowest listed price.
7-Eleven labels its fuel listings as updated within 24 hours. Prices can change quickly, so these figures are point-in-time station listings, not a citywide Henderson average.
AAA shows higher Las Vegas metro averages
AAA’s July 29 Las Vegas metro average was $4.791 per gallon for regular gasoline, up from $4.664 a week earlier. The metro diesel average was $5.742, compared with $5.582 a week earlier.
Those AAA figures provide regional context, but they are not an average for Henderson stations. The sampled Henderson listings included prices below and above the Las Vegas metro averages, showing how prices can differ by location.
Why the spread matters
For commuters and households that fill up frequently, a difference of several dozen cents per gallon can add up over multiple visits. The variation may be especially relevant to contractors, landscapers, delivery drivers, service businesses and other operators using work trucks or equipment.
Comparing nearby stations may also help drivers with larger tanks reduce the cost of a fill-up. Businesses that rely on diesel or pass fuel expenses through to customers may be watching whether regional averages continue to rise.
