Shooting in Springfield’s South End
On February 2, 2026, a 22-year-old man was fatally shot in the South End neighborhood. The incident occurred when a silver Honda or Acura approached the victim’s vehicle, and a male suspect fired multiple shots, striking the victim in the head. The shooter fled the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center. Authorities believe the shooting is gang-related and are seeking information from the public. EMBR Dispensary Opens in Springfield
