College basketball fans filled Lee’s Family Forum March 11–14 as the 2026 Big West Conference women’s basketball tournament returned to Henderson.

The four-day event brought teams and visitors from across the West Coast, giving a late-season boost to nearby restaurants and businesses. UC San Diego claimed the championship, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

City leaders have continued to position Henderson as a go-to destination for regional sports tournaments, and this week’s crowds reinforced the venue’s growing profile.
