JB Pritzkerโs campaign committee reported nearly $23.8 million in expenditures from July through September, about 25.3 times Darren Baileyโs reported spending, according to quarterly filings reported by the Chicago Sun-Times on October 16.
The reported figures, filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections, include spending by independent candidate Collin Corbettโs committee as well.
| Campaign committee | Reported expenditures, JulyโSeptember 2026 |
|---|---|
| JB Pritzker | Nearly $23.8 million |
| Darren Bailey | About $941,000 |
| Collin Corbett, independent | $386,000 |
The Sun-Times also reported that Pritzker put $65 million into his campaign fund over the summer. His committeeโs third-quarter expenditures were about 36.6% of that amount; this comparison does not mean those specific contribution dollars were spent.
The figures cover campaign committee expenditures, not all outside spending or spending by every organization aligned with a candidate. They do not establish the election outcome. The Illinois general election is scheduled for November 3, 2026.
