Arlington-area gas eases to $3.45, diesel to $4.63 in AAA check

AAA’s June 10 price check puts Fort Worth-Arlington regular gas at $3.445 and diesel at $4.625. Both fuels are a little lower than the last check and also lower than the previous same-site update. This is a metro average, not a guarantee of what every Arlington pump is charging.

Regular gas in the Fort Worth-Arlington metro is about 16 cents below the Texas average of $3.606 and about 71 cents below the U.S. average of $4.151. For commuters, households with more than one vehicle, and drivers planning a longer trip, that gap can add up over a week or month of fill-ups.

Diesel is also running below the broader benchmarks. The Fort Worth-Arlington average of $4.625 is about 9 cents under the Texas average of $4.710 and about 68 cents below the national average of $5.303. That matters for contractors, delivery fleets, restaurants, service businesses, and heavier work vehicles that burn diesel every day.

The move is modest, not dramatic, but even a small change can matter for school runs, job-site travel, weekend trips, and local delivery routes across the metro. It also gives drivers a better baseline when they compare nearby stations, since pump prices can still vary widely from one part of town to another.

For now, the bottom line is simple: Arlington-area drivers are paying a bit less than they were at the last check, and the metro remains cheaper than both Texas and the country as a whole on regular gas and diesel.
