Juvenile Suspect in Arlington Killing Arrested in South Dakota
U.S. Marshals arrested a juvenile in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on Nov. 2 on a Tarrant County murder warrant tied to the Oct. 25 fatal shooting of 18-year-old Yoan Del Risco Falcon in Arlington, Texas. The warrant was issued Oct. 30, so the arrest came eight days after the shooting and three days after the warrant. The Marshals Service announced the arrest Nov. 4.
Arlington police identified Falcon as the victim and said the suspect was a juvenile, withholding the suspectโs name and photo. Marshals said the arrest took place at an apartment in the 600 block of South Park Avenue, with help from Aberdeen police and the Brown County Sheriffโs Office.
Had the juvenile returned to Texas by Nov. 4? No. As of that date, the Marshals Service said the juvenile was being held at Brown County Juvenile Detention Center in South Dakota, awaiting juvenile-court proceedings and extradition to Texas. The murder allegation has not been decided by a court.
