Arlington, TX – March 3, 2026 – A fatal Hwy 360 wreck, big Tarrant County early-vote numbers, free rides to polls, a vendor trade show, and UTA baseball.
1) Highway 360 crash investigation
Arlington police are investigating a deadly crash involving a car and a motorcycle on northbound Highway 360 near Six Flags Drive. Officers responded around 7:40 p.m. Monday, and the motorcyclist died at the scene. Drivers were urged to expect delays as lanes were reduced while investigators worked.
2) Primary Election Day in Tarrant County
Today is Primary Election Day across Texas, with polls open 7 a.m.–7 p.m. In Tarrant County, unofficial figures show early voting and mail ballots combined reached about 16% of registered voters ahead of today’s voting.
Getting to the polls may be a little easier, too: local transit agencies across Dallas-Fort Worth are offering free rides on Election Day, including services that run through Tarrant County and stops that can help Arlington-area voters connect to vote centers.
3) Vendor opportunity: Reverse Trade Show (March 4)
Small businesses and contractors have a city-focused networking opportunity Wednesday afternoon at the Reverse Trade Show at the Bob Duncan Center. The format flips a traditional expo: city departments host the tables, and vendors circulate to introduce services and learn how to compete for bids and contracts.
4) Local sports: UTA baseball result
On the UT Arlington campus, Air Force defeated the Mavericks 7–1 Monday at Clay Gould Ballpark. The non-conference game was part of a busy early-season stretch for the Mavericks, who have been balancing home dates with road tests against top competition.
